Know tonight
before the first ticket.

Mise takes your past covers for the same day and shift, searches the weather and local events for the date with Perplexity, and gives it all to Claude to write the service brief.

1
Choose the date and shift
Pick the date and the shift: lunch, dinner or late night. Add notes for the service, such as a private event or a holiday menu.
2
Write the brief
Mise searches the weather and local events, reads your averages for that day and shift, and sends it all to Claude. It costs one credit, which comes back if the brief fails.
3
Read your brief
Predicted covers, revenue, food and labour cost, a staff plan by position with cut times, and portions per dish when you have sales history.
4
Get it by email
When a brief is ready, Mise can email you. A single brief comes with its own link, which anyone can open and print without an account.

Perplexity and Claude
Perplexity searches the weather, local events, holidays and disruptions for the date. Claude writes the brief from that and your own numbers, and the brief shows what the search found.

The numbers
every brief reads.

Your covers history is what each brief reads first. There are three ways to get it into Mise.

POS webhook
Each venue has its own webhook address. Toast and Lightspeed payloads are recognised, and any system that can post JSON works with the standard format.

CSV or Excel upload
Export from your POS and drop the file in. Claude reads the columns and pulls out covers, revenue and dish-level sales.

By hand
Log a service with its date, shift, covers, revenue and notes. Useful to start with, or to fill gaps.
Quick logBackfill
Every service you log counts
A brief averages your past services on the same day and shift, so each one you log adds to the baseline for that slot.

Your team,
in your own words.

Add your staff with the position titles your kitchen uses, and each person's rate and limits.

Your position titles
Expo, KP, barback, window: whatever your kitchen calls them.
Max covers per shift
Record how many covers each person can handle in a shift.
Hourly rates
The rota works out labour cost from these rates.
Experience
Junior, mid or senior, on each profile.
Upload your roster
Drop a CSV or Excel file. Claude reads the names, titles and rates.
Position plans
Each brief sets a headcount for each position, what it covers, and when to send people home.

Schedule by position,
with the cost in view.

A weekly grid that adds up labour cost as you build it, and shows it as a share of forecast revenue.

1
Assign shifts
Days across, staff down. Click a cell to add or remove a lunch, dinner or late-night shift.
2
Set hours per shift
Set how long each shift runs. The cost is the hours times each person's hourly rate.
3
Watch the labour cost
The weekly total, each day's cost, and labour as a percentage of forecast revenue update as you go.
4
Compare with the brief
On days with a brief, open its position plan to see the suggested staffing beside your rota.
Cut times
Each brief's position plan gives every position a time to send people home, with the reason, so you can decide on the night.

Each venue has its own covers history, menu, staff, rota and briefs.

A POS webhook per venue
Each venue has its own webhook address, so different sites can use different systems.
Opening hours

Seating capacity
Each brief is given the venue's seating capacity along with its history.
